Tianmen First High School.

After more than a week, Chu Tian returned to school once again.

His reappearance caused a stir within the class.

Since Han Zhuang had questioned Chu Tian’s grades last time, prompting a public contest between them, which ended in Chu Tian’s absolute victory, no one dared to mock him anymore.

Chu Tian’s reputation in the class had undergone a complete transformation; everyone now considered him a genius, a hidden prodigy whom they had previously misunderstood and underestimated.

Even though Chu Tian had taken more than a week off, the homeroom teacher, Qin Fang, harbored no displeasure. Instead, she was convinced that Chu Tian must have been busy with important matters, which delayed his studies.

The students whispered to each other, discussing Chu Tian’s mysterious aura and speculating about what changes had occurred in him over the past week.

“Chu Tian, you’ve finally come back to class!”

A delighted voice suddenly rang out.

An eighteen-year-old boy sat beside Chu Tian, tall and slender, with a mischievous air to his smile.

“Li Xin?”

Chu Tian turned his head and stared at the boy’s face.

After a long moment, a buried memory surged into his mind.

“We’ve only not seen each other for a week, why do you look so sentimental, as if we’ve been separated for centuries?”

Li Xin was Chu Tian’s desk mate, and one of the few friends Chu Tian had in his previous life.

In their last life, both were notorious underachievers in the class, which was why they got along so well.

When Chu Tian was at school earlier, Li Xin happened to skip class and missed the simulated exam between Chu Tian and Han Zhuang.

However, that didn’t stop Li Xin from uncovering the truth.

Especially once he learned the outcome of the competition, he took pride in his desk mate’s victory and expressed genuine admiration.

At that moment, Han Zhuang entered the classroom, his gaze immediately landing on Chu Tian.

“You’re finally back in class?” Han Zhuang approached Chu Tian, a hint of gravity crossing his face.

“I’ve got nothing pressing today, so I decided to return,” Chu Tian replied. He had met with seven senior sisters before finally deciding to come back to school.

“It’s just as well you’re back. The school assigned our class a task. Go and move fifty tables and chairs from the gym to the storage room, quickly.”

Han Zhuang spoke with an imperious tone, as if issuing an order to Chu Tian.

“Am I supposed to do it alone?” Chu Tian retorted.

“The other students are busy revising. You’re the only one with free time, since you barely attend classes anyway. Don’t tell me you have no time to move some furniture?” Han Zhuang sneered coldly. Even though he had lost to Chu Tian in the last exam, it didn’t diminish his contempt, as he believed his family background far surpassed Chu Tian’s.

“I’m not moving them.”

Chu Tian turned away, completely ignoring Han Zhuang.

“Chu Tian, are you refusing to comply with class discipline?” Han Zhuang’s expression shifted, his tone growing sterner.

“Are we supposed to obey the class’s discipline, or just yours?” Li Xin jumped in, speaking up for Chu Tian.

“Li Xin, this is none of your business.” Han Zhuang glared at Li Xin, clearly annoyed.

But Li Xin genuinely treated Chu Tian as a friend and wouldn’t stand by while he was bullied.

“Class monitor, are you holding a grudge because you lost to Chu Tian last time, and now you’re bent on personal revenge?” Li Xin glanced at Han Zhuang, seeing straight through his petty motives.

“You’re talking nonsense, stay out of it!” Han Zhuang snapped. “If Chu Tian refuses to follow the rules, he’ll get a disciplinary note.”

Han Zhuang didn’t want to argue further; with Li Xin’s stubborn nature, he’d surely latch onto the exam result and refuse to let go, embarrassing Han Zhuang in the process.

The next moment, Han Zhuang swept his sleeve and left the classroom once more.

The school generally favored students with outstanding grades, and Chu Tian had already demonstrated his potential in the recent simulated exam.

If he took the college entrance exam this year, he might become the top scorer in Jiangnan Province, bringing glory to Tianmen First High School.

Such an elite student, even if absent for over a week, was hardly a concern.

As long as it didn’t affect his college entrance exam performance, even if Chu Tian skipped class for a month, Qin Fang would turn a blind eye.

Even if Han Zhuang wanted to give Chu Tian a serious demerit, Qin Fang wouldn’t approve—it wasn’t up to Han Zhuang alone.

“Chu Tian, you embarrassed the class monitor during the exam, and now you refused his task. He’ll definitely hold a grudge, so be careful.”

Li Xin leaned close to Chu Tian, whispering his advice.

“It’s fine. I’m curious to see what he can pull off.”

Chu Tian chuckled lightly, genuinely unconcerned with Han Zhuang.

Having lived five hundred years across two lifetimes, he had witnessed countless brutal struggles.

Such petty tricks from Han Zhuang seemed like childish games to him; how could he possibly care?

Li Xin fell into thought.

He sensed that Chu Tian had changed, becoming somewhat different than before.

The old Chu Tian was timid and meek, never daring to refuse Han Zhuang’s commands. Now, Chu Tian had the courage to publicly embarrass Han Zhuang, which was truly impressive.

“As long as you know what you’re doing. But since we haven’t seen each other for so long, how about grabbing a drink tonight at a bar?” Li Xin relaxed and leaned in again, suggesting, “I heard there’s a new Dark Night Bar near the school, with a great atmosphere, and the owner is a sexy older woman. I’ve been wanting to check it out.”

“Sure.”

Chu Tian smiled lightly, the image of his second senior sister’s stunning beauty flashing through his mind.

Just then, the class bell rang, and Qin Fang entered the room carrying a stack of textbooks.

Chu Tian and Li Xin stopped talking.

After a morning of dull lessons, the afternoon finally brought a PE class.

With the college entrance exam approaching, PE classes were usually replaced by core subjects.

But Tianmen First High School prided itself on well-rounded development, emphasizing moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, so PE was never canceled, giving students a chance to relax.

Soon, the senior class left the classroom and headed to the swimming pool.

The tables and chairs that had been in the pool area had already been moved.

Unable to command Chu Tian, Han Zhuang had to direct others to move the furniture.

A few minutes later, the swimming pool.

This was a joint PE class for two classes, and students filed into the changing rooms, donning their prepared swimsuits.

Chu Tian had no intention of swimming; he sat quietly on a bench.

Moments later, everyone emerged from the changing room in their swimwear.

Instantly, the boys erupted with excitement, for the girls were dressed alluringly, their beautiful faces and fair skin on full display, especially their blossoming figures...
