Chapter 16 Is Chu Tian a Kept Pretty Boy?

“Get in the car. I’ll take you to Qingxue Group so you can get familiar with the place. Next time you come to see me, you won’t be stopped outside.” Liu Qingxue smiled, her worries gone as she spoke.

Chu Tian followed Liu Qingxue into the car. Half an hour later, they arrived at Qingxue Group.

Liu Qingxue hooked her arm around Chu Tian’s, and together they entered the lobby on the ground floor. The sight stunned the employees; everyone found it unbelievable.

“When did the ice-cold beauty CEO of Qingxue Group become so close to a man?”

“Who exactly is this pretty boy?”

Whispers spread among the crowd, their minds filling with imagined truths.

But Liu Qingxue ignored the doubtful gazes and led Chu Tian straight to her office.

“Xiao Tian, how old are you this year?” As soon as they returned to the office, Liu Qingxue sat in her desk chair. She studied Chu Tian’s youthful face and asked about his age.

“I’m already eighteen, studying at Tianmen City First High School,” Chu Tian replied.

Just then, a knock sounded at the door, interrupting their conversation.

“Come in.” Liu Qingxue put away her smile and returned to a serious demeanor.

A beautiful woman with delicate features, curves accentuated by a tailored black suit, entered. Transparent glasses perched at the corner of her eye, hiding a beauty mark, and her long, snow-white legs were wrapped in black stockings. Seeing this, Chu Tian couldn’t help swallowing hard, his gaze fixed entirely on Ye Binglan.

His second senior sister’s figure was as alluring as ever, her beauty rivaling Liu Qingxue’s, but her curves left even her elder sister in the dust. While Liu Qingxue was also stunning, she couldn’t quite compare to Ye Binglan’s physique.

“Second Sister, you’re just in time—I was about to call you,” Liu Qingxue said with a bright smile upon seeing Ye Binglan. “Starting tomorrow, Chu Tian will be our company’s vice president. What do you think?”

Ye Binglan glanced at Chu Tian, her eyes flickering with subtle meaning.

Thinking of this, Ye Binglan grew anxious.

“Second Sister, are you like everyone else outside, thinking that Chu Tian is the pretty boy I’m supporting?” Liu Qingxue’s face darkened. She understood Ye Binglan’s meaning and deliberately acted annoyed.

She thought it was just a misunderstanding, but the rumors turned out to be true. What was so special about this pretty boy? Why did her senior sister take a liking to him?

“Binglan, why should I keep my distance from Qingxue?” Chu Tian feigned innocence, suppressing his amusement and concealing his identity.

“You want to know why?” Ye Binglan rolled her eyes at him, her voice stern. “Because a toad can never eat swan meat. Don’t waste your energy on impossible dreams!”

Chu Tian was speechless—his second sister was really sharp-tongued.

Just then, the elevator reached the lobby, and the doors slid open.

Chu Tian chuckled softly and stepped out first.

“Hey, did you even listen to what I said?” Ye Binglan was annoyed. She had just lectured him at length, and he seemed not to have heard a word.

She hurried after him, ready to continue her admonishment.

But as soon as Ye Binglan exited the elevator, she saw a familiar figure approaching.

A young man in a tailored suit, holding a bouquet of roses, walked up to Ye Binglan and stopped before her.

“Binglan, I just heard that Qingxue brought back a pretty boy. Is it true?” the young man asked, his eyes blazing with anger.

His name was Song Tao, one of Liu Qingxue’s suitors. He had planted many informants within Qingxue Group, and as soon as Liu Qingxue and Chu Tian entered the company, someone had sent him the news.
