Thoughts Upon Publication
A message on the eve of launching the book? Perhaps it's more accurate to say I hardly dare to call it that. After all, once a book goes up for sale, it's inevitable that some readers will drift away, but your humble author still has to eat. So, tomorrow at noon, the official launch begins, and I sincerely hope everyone will come to Qidian and support the first subscription.
Let me repeat: the book will be on sale tomorrow, Friday, at noon.
Once it's up, that means the book will become a paid read.
Let’s draw your attention! Are you ready with your book coins?
I know my prospects aren't the brightest—after all, there are only a little over a thousand people who've added this book to their shelves. This is my first time writing in the two-dimensional genre, and perhaps my grasp is still a bit shaky, which has led to some plot issues. I have deeply reflected on this and hope to improve as the story continues, making it better and better.
Now, according to Qidian tradition, it's time to play the pitiful card.
How miserable I am~
All this lamenting is, in truth, just a ploy (oops, scratch that!)—a plea for your subscriptions. I’ve written infinite flow novels before, but this is my first attempt at anime-themed infinite flow. The main reason I started this book was a shortage of good reads. As an anime enthusiast, I’ve watched countless series, yet some of them always leave me with a sense of regret, certain plotlines never fully satisfying. So, I wanted to find a few fanfics to read.
Unfortunately, there are hardly any fanfics on Qidian that meet my standards, so I had no choice but to roll up my sleeves and do it myself.
For instance, the Date A Live arc I'm currently writing—there seem to be very few novels about Date A Live on Qidian, and even fewer featuring Rinne Sonogami. In fact, I don't think I’ve ever seen a novel about her at all. How could this be? The great Rinne is the true main heroine! I’ve even played the game to the point of losing myself in it—well, maybe that last part should be edited out.
Lastly, let me say this: I am a steadfast supporter of the harem genre.
Writing anime without a harem is no different from lying flat and giving up.
Still, while I write harems, I absolutely refuse to write mindless “stallion” stories. If you’re unclear about the difference between a proper harem and a “stallion” novel, do yourself a favor and look it up.
You can see for yourselves—I haven’t even let the protagonist kiss a girl yet! That’s purity at its finest. If it were another author, the protagonist would have bulldozed his way through the story—censorship warning!
On that note, I must complain: when did harem novels become so scarce on Qidian? Nowadays, it's nearly impossible to find a solid harem story, so I must shoulder this banner myself (shameless, I know!).
Finally, on my knees, I beg for your first subscriptions.
Tomorrow, with the launch, there will be an outburst of updates!
One hundred first subscriptions: two chapters daily.
Two hundred first subscriptions: three chapters daily.
A reward from a Helm Master: one extra chapter.
A reward from an Alliance Leader: ten extra chapters.
A reward from a Silver Alliance Leader: ten thousand extra chapters (I know this won’t happen).
...
Give me some wine, and I’ll keep boasting!
With just over a thousand people on the bookshelf, if the ratio of adds to subscriptions is ten to one, as long as I get a hundred first subscriptions, I can keep writing.
After all, your humble author needs to eat, too!
