What is it like to be carried by a top-tier expert?

"Amazing!" says Abu.
"So amazing!" says Fat Rat.
"Absolutely incredible!" says Shell.

This was the consensus reached by the trio after a brief discussion.

From their perspective, the Clown in the tailored suit was fully armed, carrying a shotgun on his back, an assault rifle slung over his shoulder, and dual-wielding submachine guns with drum magazines. He charged into the basement level, kicked open the heavy metal door, and stormed inside.

The three of them tried to follow, but a second later, they were scrambling back, clutching their heads in fear. Beyond the door was a space resembling a bar, vast and open, with over a dozen vampires gathered inside. The suited Clown, dual-wielding his submachine guns, sprinted to the center of the tavern and, amidst a manic, cackling laugh, began to spin and fire.

"Die! Die! Die!"

The three of them pressed themselves tightly against the wall to avoid being hit by ricocheting stray bullets.

Behind the door, the twin submachine guns unleashed a rain of death. Orange muzzle flashes flickered, and the sounds of gunfire, laughter, ricochets, collisions, screams, and curses melded into a cacophony. Stray bullets constantly spat out from the doorway, pinging back and forth in the narrow corridor.

Ten seconds later, the bar fell into silence.

The trio carefully peeked inside to see the suited Clown standing in the middle of the tavern, holding two red-hot submachine guns, with a sea of spent casings at his feet.

The vampires lay splayed out in various corners of the bar. Their bodies were slowly smoldering. They were clearly dead.

From behind the bar counter, a bartender jumped out and scrambled toward an exit. He had only taken seven steps when a red-hot submachine gun came spinning through the air with a terrifying sonic boom, striking him in the back.

BOOM!

The bartender slammed into the wall, denting it. The submachine gun, acting like a dagger, drove its barrel into his back, pinning him to the wall.

Not a single vampire survived.

The trio stood frozen in shock.

While they were still dazed, they saw the suited Clown toss aside the submachine guns, pull a shotgun from his back, and rush into the hallway.

Waking from their trance, the three immediately followed.

The hallway was lined with rooms. They only saw the suited Clown kick open a door and pull the trigger repeatedly into the room. Screams echoed from within, and then he turned to the next door. He reloaded with lightning speed while moving.

There were many doors here, but the suited Clown moved as if he had X-ray vision, precisely opening only the rooms occupied by vampires and opening fire.

His movements were fluid, like flowing water. In a few short breaths, he had cleared five rooms.

The suited Clown discarded the shotgun, unclipped a grenade from his belt, pulled the pin, and hurled it with all his might toward a large door at the end of the corridor. The moment the grenade left his hand, the door at the end of the hall swung open, and a hulking vampire appeared, roaring, "What are you idiots yelling about—"

The supersonic grenade slammed into the vampire's face, blasting him back into the room. Then, five more grenades flew into the room in quick succession.

A series of violent explosions erupted, orange flames gushing out and creating a ferocious shockwave that swept down the corridor, filling the air with dust and debris.

The trio lay flat on the ground in a sorry state.

Once the thunderous rumbling subsided, they carefully climbed to their feet, only to see the suited Clown walking back, rifle in hand. He called out, "There’s a hidden area over here."

"Huh?"

The trio’s brains had stopped functioning.

Their eyes followed the suited Clown as he walked up to a wall and kicked it until it shattered. A passage was revealed.

The suited Clown ducked into the passage, and gunfire erupted inside almost immediately.

Just as the trio started to move closer, the suited Clown emerged.

"Done. You guys handle the aftermath; collect the vampires' ashes."

Mo Yu set his rifle on the bar counter and sat on the edge, concluding the hunt.

Shell checked his watch, his voice trembling. "Three... three minutes... he... he only took three minutes..."

The three looked at each other, then, in perfect unison, rushed forward and performed a synchronized slide-kneel in front of Mo Yu, shouting in chorus:

"Thank you for your hard work, Boss!"

Mo Yu enjoyed the VIP treatment. Shell stood behind the bar, mixing him a drink with acrobatic flair. Fat Rat massaged his shoulders and back. Abu busied himself collecting the vampire ashes and using the channels of the "Moon-Splitting Organization" to contact official personnel to clean up the scene.

This had been a small vampire clan, totaling just over thirty members: four elite-level vampires and the rest commoners.

They were very weak.

Mo Yu had only used his "Rewind" ability five times. The first was for reconnaissance to confirm the vampires' locations and strength; the remaining times were for corrections, testing different weapons and attack patterns to ensure a one-hit kill.

In the end, he had achieved the perfect timeline.

In the eyes of the trio, he had wiped out an entire vampire stronghold in three minutes.

"Boss! Thirty-one 1-star vampires, four 2-star vampires!"

Abu ran over, clutching two jars, and excitedly placed the loot on the table. He also produced a box containing gold and silver jewelry and a stack of cash.

1-star meant common vampires, and 2-star corresponded to elite-level ones. These ashes could be exchanged for points.

Mo Yu gave a few instructions, leaving the trio to handle the cleanup while he departed first to search the nearby area for traces of other vampires.

He was primarily tracking footprints.

The intuition effect of his "Monster Bestiary" wasn't very strong yet. To be precise, there were two types.

The first was tracks visible to the naked eye; these could be seen from a hundred meters away, but it was difficult to leave such tracks in a modern city.

The second type involved no physical tracks, but rather high-lighted footprints appearing out of thin air. This felt like tracking based on the law of causality, but it only displayed tracks within a ten-meter radius.

This range was very small. It would unlock further as he earned more kill trophies.

Modern cities were too vast. Vampires wouldn't come out during the day, and at night, they only hunted in remote areas. Tracking consumed a lot of time, but that was no issue for Mo Yu. He could spend an entire afternoon tracking, and once he found the target, he could simply rewind back to the start.

From the trio's perspective, they had just finished cleaning up the aftermath when Mo Yu called.

"I’ve sent you the address. Come quickly to this factory; there’s another nest here. And get me some more thermal weapons."

"Boss! We're on our way!"

The trio immediately sprang into action. To them, this was a massive thigh to cling to, and they were not going to let go.

Mo Yu waited twenty minutes before the trio arrived by car.

"Did you bring the weapons?"

"We did, they're in the trunk."

Abu opened the trunk first. Mo Yu stepped up and saw seven or eight cases stuffed inside.

Abu pulled out a case and opened it, revealing a massive rifle that looked quite different from standard firearms.

Fat Rat explained, "Boss, these weapons are specially developed by the authorities to deal with various monsters. They have high power, large ammunition capacity, and are extremely durable."

Mo Yu nodded and picked up the gun to inspect it. It was a shotgun with a barrel two fingers wide, fed by a drum magazine. It could fire twelve rounds in quick succession and used 4-gauge shells.

"Good stuff," Mo Yu commended.

"I exchanged them using the points from the hunt you led earlier, Boss," Abu replied.

"Well done." Mo Yu was not stingy with his praise. This underling was capable, understood exactly what kind of weapons he needed, and prepared them in advance.

He opened all the cases to inspect them, tested them, rewound time, and repeated the process several times. With the support of his marksmanship skills, Mo Yu quickly mastered the use of these weapons.

Once prepared, he picked up the shotgun and, leaving behind a single "Wait here for me," turned and walked into the factory.

The trio watched as Mo Yu disappeared into the factory entrance.

They started their stopwatches.

Gunfire erupted inside the factory.

Five minutes later, Mo Yu returned.

He tossed the shotgun onto the car and told the trio, "Call the team to clean up, maintain the weapons, and I'll go find the next nest."
