Closing Remarks on the Completion of Volume One

Douluo: Cultivando as Sete Seções do Senhor Xuan, Torno-me o Benevolente Rei dos Remédios! Lingzhi não será amputada. 464 words 2026-08-05 02:25:08

According to my expectations, after reading these two chapters, many people will remove this book from their shelves. After all, the ending of the first volume didn’t satisfy many readers. I had thought about this, but I still chose this ending.

If I had followed the traditional route where the protagonist unleashes a fierce attack and defeats Tang San outright, what would I write about afterward? Keep in mind, the background of this book is set during the Douluo Second Stage, and it hasn’t even connected with the original main storyline yet. (˃⌑˂ഃ)

So, I decided to first build up the tension and then suppress it by sealing the protagonist. This aligns with the Cthulhu theme of the book: when the stars return to their rightful places, the Old Ones will awaken from their slumber.

That’s why the protagonist says, “I await you in your dreams.”

I already have a rough idea for the next volume, which will revolve around releasing the protagonist. It will focus more on a group of characters, though I’m not sure if I can handle it well. We shall see.

I have renamed the first volume “The Fertility Rebellion,” and I’ve settled on the title for the second volume as “The Death God’s Immortality.” From this title alone, you can guess what the main theme of the second volume will be. (^▽^)

Alright, that’s all for my thoughts. I have to get up and go to work now. (ó﹏ò。)
