Chapter 34: Possessing All Five Poisons

"You should know why I created you as a clone."

"Of course, I am the worm in your belly, Boss."

Why does this clone feel a bit like a sycophant?

Shaking his head, Naruto decided to test him: "Then tell me, why?"

"Because the Nine-Tails said the culprit of the 'Night of the Nine-Tails' was Uchiha Madara, and that night you were held in his hand, nearly scared to death..."

"Stop, don't bring up those embarrassing moments. Skip to the result."

The clone Naruto scratched his head, feeling as though his attempt at flattery had backfired. He continued, "You want me to go around the ninja world swindling people under the name of Uchiha Madara, all to lure the real Uchiha Madara out and finish him off!"

"Exactly."

Naruto emphasized sternly, "Keep your purpose firmly in mind. No matter who that masked person is, and regardless of whether he is truly Uchiha Madara or not, find him, humiliate him, and kill him! Understand?"

"And tell me the rules you must strictly follow."

"1. Never act on impulse. 2. Absolute fairness and justice..."

"Hold it right there."

Naruto cut off the clone's rambling. "1. Do not make a move unless you are attacked by others. 2. Except for that Uchiha Madara, you are not allowed to kill anyone."

Compared to the previous twenty-something special clones, Naruto's requirements this time were much stricter. These Wood Release clones had personalities that were increasingly eccentric, making their behavior unpredictable. Therefore, Naruto had to issue a strict order to prevent any accidents.

The clone, dubbed 'Six-Barrel,' was quite excited, looking forward to his upcoming life roaming the ninja world.

In the darkness, Naruto stood still for a moment, recovering his chakra while lost in thought. Even now, the Nine-Tails hadn't provided a detailed account of that night. Naruto knew the Nine-Tails feared creating a rift between them, as it was the direct cause of his parents' deaths. Thus, Naruto hadn't brought it up. However, the Nine-Tails held a deep grudge against Uchiha Madara, the enemy from that night, and had mentioned him many times. That was how Naruto remembered that particular look. There wasn't much else to it, mainly just that tiger-striped mask.

In truth, Naruto had always been suspicious—was an old geezer like Uchiha Madara actually dead, or was someone else using his name to stir up trouble? It didn't matter. Whoever it was, they would be found and eliminated. People say not to bully the young and poor, yet this person had bullied him when he was still just an infant.

The first page of Naruto’s little notebook was reserved for this vendetta. After twelve long years of waiting, it was time to collect.

As if remembering something, Naruto suddenly felt energized. Once he went back, he would search for Uchiha Madara in the Duel Arena and give him a sound thrashing. Yes, that was a lovely plan.

With his mind racing, a sudden thought popped up: 'Since the clones are so strong, why not make them the Kage of other villages? Is there any potential there?'

If the clones became Kage, it would make his future plans much easier to coordinate. It seemed... feasible! Not just feasible, it was brilliant. Naruto was so happy he almost shouted. He would call this plan 'The Cuckoo in the Nest.'

After figuring it out, Naruto ordered his clones to pay closer attention to the successors and powerful figures in each village, looking for viable targets. As long as the plan went smoothly, he would become the Hokage, and his clones would become the Kage of the other villages.

All five Kage would be me!

Uh. Hopefully, the clones would have normal personalities by then. Otherwise, the aesthetic would be way too weird.

Afterward, Naruto prepared to head home and sleep.

"Let's go, Wan Liang."

Wan Liang was still puzzled: "Don't you need me to keep looking for materials?"

"I've already had my clones help with that; you don't need to run around anymore."

"Alright then."

He dropped Wan Liang off at a nearby market town. Only tomorrow would he return to Konoha through the main gate, fair and square. He, Naruto, had also contributed to the happiness of Konoha.

Returning home with another Flying Thunder God jump, he saw his shadow clone was still asleep. Remembering the group of shadow clones from earlier in the day, Naruto felt his anger flare up instantly.

Sleeping, sleeping, always sleeping! Do you know what kind of grand career I've been building outside?

He went up and kicked the clone, then finished him off with a punch to send him back to the void. Afterward, he happily lay down himself.

The next day, Kakashi was uncharacteristically only ten minutes late.

"Here."

As soon as they met, Kakashi handed a few sheets of paper to the three of them.

Naruto pulled one out and asked, "What is this?"

"Chakra paper," Kakashi explained. "It can be used to test your chakra nature."

There was such a thing?

"How do you test it?" Naruto was curious.

"Channel your chakra into it. If it's lightning, the paper will wrinkle; if it's wind, it will split; if it's fire, it will burn; if it's water, it will become damp; if it's earth, it will crumble."

Oh? If it were a 'poverty' attribute, would it automatically turn into an IOU?

After a sarcastic thought, remembering his seven attributes, Naruto asked, "Kakashi-sensei, what happens if there are multiple attributes?"

"You'll see once you try."

Naruto tried channeling his chakra, and the paper changed. Looking at it, all five traits were present! No, rather, all five changes were present.
